Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to analyze and consult on complex software development projects focusing on quality assurance, processes and standards. You will lead QA activities across several projects, perform various layers of testing, and document QA procedures.

You must demonstrate strong communication skills in English and Malay, plus hands-on experience with QA tools and databases. This role is based in Malaysia, Johor, Pasir Gudang, onsite with Accenture’s global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical concepts to clients.
• Fluent in English and Malay; well-organized and deadline-driven.
• Deep knowledge of QA strategy, processes and tools; able to drive QA projects.

Responsibilities

• Communicate work plans, status and issues to management.
• Collaborate with project teams to prioritize requirements.
• Lead QA efforts across multiple projects, including unit, integration, user and regression testing.
• Integrate QA functions across software development projects.
• Review projects to assess quality achievement and recommend improvements.
• Test new programs/tools for usability and document findings.
• Create and maintain QA documentation; define standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with teams to provide QA process recommendations.
