Job summary

Woh Hup Group in Selangor is seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to join our project team for a major Data Centre project. You will supervise QA/QC activities on site and ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and project quality requirements.

You will work closely with Project Manager, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Client representatives to maintain high quality standards, raise NCRs, manage non-conformances, and document quality records throughout

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience on construction projects.
• Experience on Data Centre, Industrial, Semiconductor, or large-scale projects is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, NCR management, and inspection processes.
• Able to coordinate with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction documentation systems.

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to join our project team for a major Data Centre project in Selangor. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and implementing quality assurance and quality control activities on site, ensuring all construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and project quality requirements.

The role will work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Team, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Client representatives to maintain high-quality standards throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor QA/QC activities across the construction site.
• Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for work inspections and approvals.
• Prepare, review, and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, inspection requests, and quality records.
• Monitor incoming materials and ensure materials comply with approved specifications and material submittals.
• Coordinate material inspections, testing, sampling, and laboratory tests where required.
• Identify quality issues, non-conformances, and defects, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Raise and follow up on NCRs, observations, and site quality issues until satisfactory closure.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for all QA/QC activities.
• Monitor subcontractors' workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality surveillance of ongoing works.
• Participate in internal quality audits and support client/consultant audits.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to resolve technical and quality-related issues.
• Ensure testing and commissioning-related documentation is properly coordinated where applicable.
• Support the preparation of quality dossiers and handover documentation.
• Ensure all works are completed to the required quality standards and project specifications.
• Promote a strong quality culture across the project team and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects, preferably with a main contractor.
• Experience working on Data Centre, Industrial, Semiconductor, Cleanroom, or large-scale commercial projects will be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality control procedures, inspection processes, ITPs, method statements, and NCR management.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with relevant Malaysian construction standards and requirements.
• Strong site inspection and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple quality-related activities on a fast-paced project.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant construction documentation systems.
