Job summary

Morelux Precision Casting Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Selangor, is seeking a passionate QA/QC Inspector to join our team as a full-time role. You will ensure all products meet customer requirements, internal specifications and quality standards through inspection, testing and process monitoring.

Responsibilities include incoming, in-process and final inspections (FAI, material certificates, dimensional checks), plus documentation, traceability and ISO records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in QA/QC within the manufacturing industry.
• Diploma or degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality.
• Proficient with quality management tools and techniques such as SPC, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Incoming Inspection: Inspect raw materials and verify certificates.
• In-Process Inspection: Perform FAI, dimensional checks during machining.
• Final Inspection: Ensure conforming products are released for delivery.
• Documentation & Records: Record results and maintain traceability; support ISO documentation.
• Nonconformance Control: Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products; assist investigations and corrective actions.

We Morelux Precision Casting Sdn Bhd, are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA/QC Inspectors to join our dynamic team in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a full-time QA/QC Inspectors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the exceptional quality and reliability of our production, contributing to the overall success of our company.

To ensure all products meet customer requirements, internal specifications, and quality standards through inspection, testing, and monitoring of manufacturing processes

Job Description

1 Incoming Inspection

• Inspect raw materials (e.g., aluminum ingots, inserts, components)
• Verify material certificates and supplier documents
• Ensure materials meet required specifications before production

2 In-Process Inspection

• Perform first article inspection (FAI) for new or changed parts
• Inspect parts after trimming, deburring, and shot blasting
• Perform in-process dimensional checks during machining operations
• Conduct routine patrol inspections to ensure process control

3 Final Inspection

• Perform X-ray inspection to detect internal defects (if applicable)
• Ensure only conforming products are released for delivery

4 Documentation & Records

• Record inspection results in check sheets or reports
• Maintain traceability of products and inspection status
• Support ISO documentation and audit requirements

5 Nonconformance Control

• Identify and segregate non-conforming (NG) products
• Label and control defective items to prevent unintended use
• Report quality issues to supervisor or QA Engineer
• Assist in investigation and corrective actions

• Proficient in using quality management tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis
