Job summary

China Railway Electrification Engineering Group (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Document Controller to join our Johor Bahru project team.

You will manage project documents, drawings, submissions and correspondence, maintain filing and document control systems, and track submissions, approvals and revisions. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in document control or related field.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and quality standards.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and drawing management platforms.
• Experience in railway projects is advantageous.
• Able to work independently and willing to relocate to Johor Bahru.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Project Quality Plan, Project Document Control Procedure, and Inspection and Test Plan.
• Monitor the project execution and ensure all processes align with the project quality plan and control procedures.
• Conduct internal quality audits on a project basis.
• Conduct external quality audits to suppliers/sub-contractors.
• Liaise with internal/external auditors on Quality System matters.
• Attend meetings related to Quality.
• Create and draft forms related to Quality.
• Manage and organise project documents, drawings, submissions and correspondence.
• Maintain proper filing and document control systems.
• Track document submissions, approvals, revisions and records.
• Assist in preparing reports, meeting documents and project records.
• Coordinate documentation with project engineers, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Ensure project documents are properly recorded, updated and accessible.
• Support the project team with general documentation and administrative tasks.
