Job Responsibilities
- Implement and execute all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System.
- Comply with clients and applicable legal and other requirements.
- Implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.
- Take responsibility and accountability for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health in your own specific area of work/responsibilities.
- Lead daily site activities in the execution of various construction works, job quality, field supervision and loss prevention.
- Ensure the workers and subcontractors adhere to good housekeeping and implement quality, environmental and safety and health practices.
- Report construction progress and any factors adversely affecting the project to the Project Manager.
- Ensure that daily activities of all trades are pre-planned and promptly carried out by his site personnel.
- Ensure all materials delivered are as ordered complying with specifications and works are constructed as per contract requirements.
- Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide and demonstrate the leadership and commitment for the overall implementation of the QESH Management System in the department.
- Take accountability for the effectiveness of the QESH Management System in the department.
- Ensure that the QESH Management System conforms to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in the department.
- Promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the organisation.
- Take responsibility and accountability for prevention of work-related injury and ill health in the department.
- Promote customer focus and improvement in the department.
- Comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
- Determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.
- Report on performance of QESH Management System including QESH performance in the department to the Top Management.
- To prepare M&E estimates for tenders.
- To review contractual conditions in tender documents.
- To prepare documents for tender and pre-qualifications submissions.
- To monitor the work carried out by M&E Engineer.
- To check through tender documents and drawings for any discrepancy and potential claims during post contract.
- To assist Tender & Contract Department in contract implementation and interpretation of contract terms, discrepancies between BQ/drawings/specifications etc.
- To prepare awards of subcontract works for M&E packages during post contract.
- To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

Job Requirement
- A recognised Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in managing heavy construction plant, machinery and equipment.
- Candidates without formal qualifications but with at least 5 years of related experience will also be considered.
- Must be dynamic, independent and possess strong technical skills.

- Manage and oversee the efficient use of the company's fleet of machinery, equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance tasks are completed effectively and properly documented.
- Monitor the purchase and inventory of spare parts, machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with project and site teams on the deployment and movement of machinery and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment at various project sites.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
- A recognized Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent or its equivalent.
- Proactive and willing to learn attitude.
- Independent with good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Possess good numerical skills, sharp analytical thinking.
