Job summary

Nakano Construction Sdn Bhd in Kulim, Malaysia, seeks a QA & QC Engineer to actively work at the project site and participate in daily construction activities. You will be accountable for the quality and workmanship of site activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Job description

The QA & QC Engineer is required to work actively at the project site and attend daily construction activities.

Accountable for the quality and workmanship of site activity, good knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to architectural and structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary processes.

Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations.

Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.

Review quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain a quality of materials.

Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.

Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for processes.

Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and site in-charge for inspection.

Education Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.

3 years of experience as a QA & QC Engineer or Site Engineer in the construction industry. Experience in commercial buildings, data centers, or semiconductor projects would be an added advantage.

Working Conditions:

Applicants must be willing to work at project sites nationwide. Currently, we are looking to hire this position for our Kulim project. Accommodation will be provided by the Company for outstation staff.

Official working hours are from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Applicants must be willing to commit to working beyond regular hours, including weekends and public holidays.

12 months contract duration(with potential for extension or renewal).
