China State Construction & Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to oversee QA/QC activities across multiple projects in Malaysia. The role involves monitoring quality, reviewing method statements and ITPs, and ensuring compliance with specifications and authority requirements.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in building construction or related infrastructure projects, with a preference for
Responsible for overall quality monitoring across all ongoing projects
Supervise, review, and ensure consistent implementation of QA/QC standards across sites
Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with construction specifications, procedures, and authority requirements
Develop and standardize section acceptance procedures, ensuring clear roles and coordination among departments
Review and manage Request for Inspection (RFI) submissions across multiple projects
Assist Chief Engineer in reviewing Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
Monitor site quality performance and ensure timely rectification of non-conformances
Consolidate project quality reports and provide updates to management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in building construction, infrastructure projects or data center
Experience in QA/QC and multi-site or project coordination is an advantage
