Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Electrical & C&S professional for a Data Centre Project to implement project-specific QA/QC procedures and supervise ITPs for civil and MEP packages. The role requires auditing submissions, on-site verification, and strict adherence to QMS requirements.

Responsibilities include site inspections, witnessing tests, managing NCR/SOR deviations, and performing root cause analysis to prevent repeats, ensuring data hall integrity and smooth client handovers.

Qualifications

• QA/QC procedures must be implemented for civil and MEP packages.
• Audit method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings before any work begins on-site.
• Conduct internal quality audits and monitor contractor QMS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Quality Guidelines: Implement project-specific QA/QC procedures and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for civil and MEP packages.
• Review Submissions: Audit method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings before any work begins on-site.
• Perform Audits: Conduct internal quality audits and monitor contractor QMS compliance.
• Civil & Structural Checking: Verify pile testing, concrete strength, and air-tight wall penetrations to maintain data hall integrity.
• MEP Oversight: Inspect the installation of massive UPS systems, medium-voltage switchgears, cooling towers, and chilled-water piping.
• Material Validation: Check incoming critical equipment to verify FAT certifications.
• Witness Testing Verification: Participate directly in tests to validate structural and system readiness.
• Manage Deviations: Raise NCR and SOR when work falls short of standards.
• Root Cause Analysis: Apply quality tools to prevent repeating construction errors.
• Punch-List Closure: Track small fixes and document all quality handovers for a smooth client transition.

• MEP Oversight: Inspect the installation of massive UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, medium-voltage switchgears, cooling towers, and chilled-water piping.
• Material Validation: Check incoming critical equipment to verify it matches Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) certifications.
• Witness Testing Verification: Participate directly in tests to validate structural and system readiness.
• Manage Deviations: Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Site Observation Reports (SOR) when work falls short of standards.
• Root Cause Analysis: Apply quality tools to prevent repeating construction errors.
• Punch-List Closure: Track small fixes and document all quality handovers for a smooth client transition.
