Job summary

Life Biopharma Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Diploma or Degree holder in Pharmaceutical Science to join our small R&D team. You will perform routine QC testing, prepare samples, and record results according to SOPs.

Ideal candidates have strong lab technique skills (pipetting, weighing, solution prep, microscopy), familiar with GMP, and a willingness to learn new procedures. Mandarin is advantageous but not required; independence and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Pharmaceutical Science preferred.
• Strong academic background in science essential.
• Proficiency in pipetting, weighing, solution prep, and microscopy.
• HPLC experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with sample preparation for analytical procedures.
• Ability to record data clearly and follow lab protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing of pharmaceutical products and raw materials.
• Prepare samples and conduct laboratory tests according to SOPs.
• Record test results and maintain proper documentation.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Follow GMP, SOPs, and laboratory safety procedures.
• Report abnormal test results to the QC Supervisor.

Diploma/Degree in a relevant Pharmaceutical Science field (eg., Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field) is preferred.

A strong academic background in science is essential.

Proficiency in fundamental laboratory techniques such as pipetting, weighing, solution preparation, and basic microscopy.

Past experiences in HPLC will be an advantage.

Familiarity with sample preparation methods for various analytical procedures.

Ability to meticulously record experimental data, observations, and results in a clear and organized manner, adhering to laboratory protocols.

Understanding of basic quality control principles and the importance of maintaining accurate records for R&D purposes.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new laboratory procedures and equipment.
