Job summary

Life Biopharma Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented candidate for a laboratory role in Negeri Sembilan. The position supports routine quality control testing of pharmaceutical products and raw materials, with responsibilities including sample preparation and test execution in a small R&D team.

Ideal applicants should hold a Diploma/Degree in Pharmaceutical Science or related field, have strong science background, and be familiar with basic lab techniques.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in a relevant Pharmaceutical Science field preferred.
• Strong academic background in science essential.
• Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques: pipetting, weighing, solution preparation, basic microscopy.
• Experience with HPLC advantageous.
• Familiarity with sample preparation for analytical procedures.
• Ability to record data clearly and adhere to lab protocols.
• Understanding of quality control and R&D record-keeping.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and equipment.
• Mandarin is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to work both independently and in a small R&D team.
• Strong attention to detail and safe, organized lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing of pharmaceutical products and raw materials.
• Prepare samples and conduct laboratory tests per SOPs.
• Record test results and maintain proper documentation.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Follow GMP, SOPs and safety procedures.
• Report abnormal test results to QC Supervisor.

A strong academic background in science is essential.
