Job summary

Life Biopharma Sdn Bhd seeks a detail-oriented laboratory technician to join our small R&D QC team in Malaysia. A Diploma/Degree in Pharmaceutical Science is preferred, with hands-on experience in basic lab techniques and documentation.

You will perform routine quality control testing, prepare samples, maintain records, and ensure GMP and SOP compliance while working independently or with colleagues. Candidates should be willing to learn, adapt to new procedures, and assist with equipment

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Pharmaceutical Science preferred.
• Strong academic background in science essential.
• Proficiency in fundamental laboratory techniques (pipetting, weighing, solution preparation, basic microscopy).
• Past experiences in HPLC advantageous.
• Familiarity with sample preparation methods for analytical procedures.
• Ability to meticulously record experimental data, observations, and results following lab protocols.
• Understanding of basic quality control principles and maintaining records for R&D.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new lab procedures and equipment.
• Mandarin advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work independently and in a small R&D team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a safe, organized lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing of pharmaceutical products and raw materials.
• Prepare samples and conduct laboratory tests according to SOPs.
• Record test results and maintain proper documentation.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Follow GMP, SOPs, and lab safety procedures.
• Report abnormal test results to the QC Supervisor.
