Job summary

VAT Group AG in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Business Process Analyst focused on Quality Assurance to document, analyze, and optimize QA operations in manufacturing and assembly. You will map end-to-end processes using BPMN, work with stakeholders to identify improvements, and ensure documentation stays current and compliant with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in business process management, process documentation, or related roles.
• Experience driving process improvements in quality management in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in BPMN notation and using BPMN-tools for process modeling.
• Experience with BPMN-tools such as Bizagi, Signavio, Camunda.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify improvement opportunities from data.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Project management skills to handle multiple documentation projects.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or BPR methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to business processes.

Responsibilities

• Document existing processes using BPMN notation with stakeholders.
• Create detailed process maps, workflows, and diagrams of end-to-end processes.
• Analyze documented processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Propose optimizations using BPMN-tool capabilities and validate changes with stakeholders.
• Maintain process documentation in BPMN-tool and keep it up-to-date.
• Train team members and stakeholders on using BPMN-tool effectively.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and internal policies.
• Champion process excellence and promote continuous improvement.
