Job summary

FD Precision Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead our quality assurance team in the Plastic Injection Molding and Automotive Lighting Assembly industry. You will oversee all QA activities, ensure products meet customer specifications, and drive continual improvements while coordinating with production, engineering, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, 5–8 years in plastic injection molding, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in plastic injection molding will be in advantage
• Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 )
• Experience in handling customer audits and quality issues
• Good leadership and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, PPAP)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all quality assurance and control activities
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Lead internal and external audits (ISO compliance)
• Monitor production quality performance and implement improvements
• Work closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
• Manage QA team performance, training, and development
