Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure daily inspections meet specifications and process requirements. You will handle measurement instruments, maintain traceable records, and assist QA teams across incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

Ideal candidates have SPM or technical certificate, hands-on QA/QC experience, and a basic understanding of metal work and CNC drawings.

Qualificações

• SPM or certificate in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing, or 0–5 years QAQC experience.
• 0–5 years' hands-on quality inspection of fabrication on sheet metal and machining; basic production process understanding.
• Basic understanding of metal work and CNC drawings; ability to read tolerances and operate basic in-house measuring instruments; inspection report writing.

Responsabilidades

• 1. Daily quality inspection; ensure specification & process requirements are met.
• 2. Feedback quality issues to QA technician for verification before informing production.
• 3. Assist A technician to perform incoming inspection at assembly and source inspection at vendor sites.
• 4. Ensure all daily inspection assignments are completed within required time frame.
• 5. Proper storage of quality inspection data/reports; maintain traceability & retrievability.
• 6. Assist QA technician and QA Engineer on quality data collection for the weekly PI report.
• 7. Comply with ISO requirements and safety practices, SOPs, work instructions, policies and guidelines.

1. To perform daily quality inspection, ensure specification & process requirements are met. Area of coverage may include vendor incoming inspection, in-process inspection, out-going inspection & machine buy-off.

2. Feedback quality issue encountered to QA technician for verification purpose before feedback to production.

3. Assist A technician to perform incoming inspection at assembly and source inspection at vendor sites.

4. Ensure all daily inspection assignment/s are complete within required time frame

5. Proper storage of quality inspection data/reports. Maintain traceability & able to retrieve.

6. Assist QA technician and QA Engineer on quality data collection for the weekly PI report.

7. To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Requirements:

1.Minimum SPM or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing or >0-5 years related experience in QAQC.

2.Minimum 0~5 years' experience in HANDs ON quality inspection of fabrication on Sheet metal and Machining, basic understanding in production process.

3. Basic understanding on Metal Work and CNC machining drawing & calculation of drawing tolerance. Able to operate basic in-house measuring instruments such as caliper, micrometer, pin/block gauge & profile projector. Inspection report writing.
