Job summary

BART PACIFIC SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quality Control/Quality Assurance professional in Penang to ensure materials, in-process, and finished products meet required standards. The role emphasizes calibration, documentation, process improvements, and coordination with suppliers.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in mechanical or mechatronic disciplines, at least 3 years in manufacturing, and proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and tooling design. English/Chinese language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Automation or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD 2D, tooling design and visualization software.
• QC/QA, manufacturing or automotive industry experience preferred.
• Good communication with suppliers and internal teams.
• Able to work under pressure, multi-task and autonomously.
• Familiar with inspection tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge).
• English and Mandarin language skills are an advantage.

Job description

To ensure that all incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products meet the required quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

Need monitor quality performance, investigate quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain inspection records, quality documents, and non-conformance reports.

In charge of equipment internal verification and external calibration.

Perform quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.

Coordinate with suppliers on quality issues and corrective actions.

Ensure operators follow approved work instructions and quality standards.

Identify process abnormalities and coordinate corrective actions.

Practice good 5S in work area, tidy and safe for conductive work environment.

Perform any other duties as assigned by direct superior / management.

Requirements

Candidate must posses at least Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Automation & robotic or equivalent.

At least 3 years working experiences in manufacturing field.

Required skill(s): Knowledge in AutoCAD 2D is a must, tooling design, computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.

Experience in QC/QA, manufacturing, or automotive-related industries is preferred.

Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.

Matured, able to work under pressure, independently with minimal supervision and cope high demand of multi-tasking jobs.

Familiar with inspection equipment such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring tools.

Able to speak, read and writing in English and Mandarin is an advantage.
