Hoiyongfruits is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Specialist in Malaysia to ensure the quality and safety of fresh produce throughout the supply chain. The role includes conducting daily inspections, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, and preparing quality documentation. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Food Science, relevant QA/QC experience, and strong skills in documentation. Fluent Bahasa Malaysia and English are required. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of QA/QC experience in FMCG or F&B preferred.
• Comfortable working in warehouse/cold environments.

What You’ll Be Driving

Quality Control & Compliance

Take ownership of product integrity across the supply chain.

• Conduct daily inspections on incoming, in-process and outgoing fruits.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, internal SOPs and customer requirements.
• Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and handling practices across warehouse and retail operations.

Documentation & Reporting

Turn quality data into operational clarity.

• Maintain accurate QA records and inspection reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for management insights.
• Support updates to SOPs, checklists and quality documentation.

Food Safety & Risk Control

Act early. Prevent losses. Protect standards.

• Monitor storage conditions including temperature control and FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Identify risks such as spoilage, contamination and improper handling.
• Work closely with Operations and Warehouse teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Strengthen quality from source to shelf.

• Support supplier evaluations and provide quality feedback.
• Assist in product grading, rejection decisions and improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with Purchasing and Sales teams on quality-related matters.

Training & Quality Culture

Set the standard across teams.

• Deliver basic hygiene and quality training to warehouse, retail and operations staff.
• Promote a strong food safety mindset in daily operations.

• Support initiatives to improve product quality and reduce wastage.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, or related field.
• 1–3 years QA/QC experience (FMCG or F&B preferred).
• Knowledge of GMP/HACCP is an advantage.
• Comfortable working in warehouse/cold environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
• Bahasa Malaysia & English required (Mandarin is an advantage).
