Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Software QA / Software Testing.
• Strong experience in manual software testing and test case preparation.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management and software testing methodologies.
• Experience testing web applications, mobile applications and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of AI-assisted software testing techniques and AI-powered QA tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system and exploratory testing.
• Test web applications, mobile applications, APIs and system integrations.
• Verify software functionality, usability, performance and reliability before release.
• Identify, document, track and follow up on software defects through to resolution.
• Perform retesting and regression testing after defects have been fixed.
• Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria.
• Identify potential quality risks early in the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and test automation frameworks.
• Utilise automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium or equivalent.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines where appropriate.
• Utilise AI-assisted testing and QA tools to improve test case generation, test data creation, defect analysis and regression testing.
• Apply AI-assisted techniques to improve testing coverage, efficiency and accuracy.
• Explore and evaluate new AI-powered testing and automation tools.
• Continuously improve automated testing frameworks and methodologies to reduce manual testing effort.
• Perform API & integration testing and release & production quality related tasks.
• Participate in release planning and production deployment activities.
• Provide QA status and release-readiness recommendations based on defined quality criteria.
• Support investigation of production incidents and defects.
