Job summary

Kinobi AI, a Singapore-based company transforming higher education, seeks a QA Engineer in Malaysia to own quality across Staging, UAT, and Production. You will collaborate with an international, cross-functional team to support a fast weekly release cycle, combining manual testing with automation and AI-assisted tools.

Your responsibilities include designing test plans, executing UI and API tests with Postman/Swagger and Playwright, and writing automated tests with Node.js/TypeScript.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on QA experience in software/product teams.
• Based in Malaysia, able to work with SG co-founders in English.
• Experience with UI and API testing; familiarity with Playwright is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple testing types in fast releases.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive manual testing across staging, UAT, and production.
• Define, implement, and maintain test plans and test suites.
• Execute UI, API, and smoke tests using Postman, Swagger, and Playwright.
• Identify, document, and report defects and inconsistencies.
• Establish E2E QA flow to support weekly feature releases.
