Job summary

VTECH TELECOMMUNICATIONS (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking to provide product quality support across manufacturing facilities. Analyse, improve and align sustainable quality program throughout organization.

Responsibilities include collaborating with cross functional and regional teams on product requirements and compliance, reviewing product characteristics to ensure conformity, and developing procedures and work instructions.

• Review, understand and create awareness of the product characteristics and requirements to ensure product compliance.
• Develop and maintain the effectiveness of procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure new and sustaining product requirements are effectively implemented.
• Regularly perform process and product risk assessment. Ensure planned actions to mitigate feedback/issue are effectively implemented to prevent recurrence.
• Lead and align improvement activities to consistently achieve product quality level.
• Lead or participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Accountable for product quality targets and continually drive towards zero defect. Effective execution of quality initiatives.
• Complies to company’s QEHSMS requirements.
• Responsible to understand and comply to Environmental Management System and Occupational Safety and Health Management System requirements.
• Cooperate with employer with regard to environmental, safety and health at workplace.
