Job summary

Synactic is an international tooling solutions company established in 2004, serving local and global industries from its Penang facility. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality initiatives across development and production, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Costing or related disciplines, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP/costing systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Costing or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP or costing systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing.
• Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.
• Develops sampling plans by applying attribute, variable and sequential sampling methods.
• Train and supervise QC staff to carry out inspection and documentation.
• Clear non-conforming parts with proper documentation for disposal.
• Represent Quality in product development teams and coordinate with QA Manager on plans.

Job description

Synactic is an international tooling solutions company established in 2004, serving local and global industries from its Penang facility. Our capabilities include precision machining, tooling, automation equipment, stamping, production machining and assembly.

Key Responsibilities

Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing.

Establishes statistical confidence by identify sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.

Develops sampling plans by applying attribute, variable and sequential sampling methods.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Train and supervise QC staff to carry out proper inspection method and measurement reporting, as well as proper filling and storage of all QA related documentation.

To clear all the non-conforming part on the timely basis with proper documentation for disposal.

Represent Quality in product development teams/project. Work with QA Manager to develop & execute plans (quality plan, risk management plan) and requirements (safety, functionality, regulatory, usability) to ensure provisions for quality are addressed and resolved prior to release.

Support validation efforts of approved testing to assure compliance.

Assist in and coordinate customer complaints and follow-up on countermeasures recommended by Production.

Assist in carrying out quality system audits.

Carry out any other jobs assigned by immediate superior.

Requirements
