Job summary

Rinda Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant to support daily QA activities across jelly and candy lines, inspect in-process and finished goods, and uphold HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000 compliance.

The role requires SPM or higher, with a Diploma an advantage, 1–3 years in food manufacturing, and strong communication, time management, and Malay language skills.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent is required.
• Diploma in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Biology/ Science adds advantage.
• 1–3 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent time management and positive attitude to continuous learning.
• Good command of Malay in speaking, reading, writing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily production in-process & finished goods inspection for both Jelly & Candy productions.
• Responsible for incoming daily inspection on packaging, ingredients and raw materials.
• Carry out daily in-process audit to verify production quality activities.
• Responsible for workers and production area hygiene inspection.
• Follow company ISO 22000 system, GMP and personal hygiene practices and comply to HACCP requirements.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job description

2.Responsible for incoming daily inspection on packaging, ingredients and raw materials.
3.Responsible to carry out daily in-process audit in both Jelly & Candy production to verify production quality activities.
4.Responsible for workers and production area hygiene inspection.
5.Follow company ISO 22000 system, GMP and personal hygiene practices and comply to HACCP requirements.
6.Other responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

Candidate must have at least passed SPM. Candidates with a Diploma in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Biology/ Science or a related field will have an added advantage.

1 to 3 years of working experience in food manufacturing industry.

Enjoy working with people and possess good communication skill.

Excellent time management and have positive attitude towards continuous learning.

Good command of Malay languages in speaking, reading & calculating and writing.
