The role requires 1–2 years in a related coating or fabrication environment, physical stamina to handle heavy sheets, and basic literacy in Bahasa Malaysia or English to read machine interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years in vacuum coating, electroplating, powder coating, or steel fabrication facilities.
• Physical stamina to lift and stand for extended periods.
• Language: Basic Bahasa Malaysia or English and ability to read digital machine control interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Treatment Processing: Clean, degrease, and dry stainless steel sheets before loading.
• Chamber Loading & Masking: Mount heavy pieces and apply masking tapes as needed.
• Machine Operation: Run pre-programmed PVD recipes, monitor vacuum pressure, gas flows and temperatures.
• Post-Coating Inspection: Visually inspect coating quality and pack finished sheets.

Job Description: PVD Production Operator

Role Summary:
We are seeking a PVD Coating Operator / Production Assistant to manage the daily loading, operating, and unloading of our vacuum deposition chambers. This role is responsible for ensuring large stainless steel sheets, profiles, or architectural fabrications are perfectly coated without surface blemishes. Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Treatment Processing: Clean, degrease, and dry stainless steel sheets (Hairline, Mirror, Satin finishes) using ultrasonic baths or chemical wiping before loading.
• Chamber Loading & Masking: Safely mount and jig heavy stainless steel pieces onto the vacuum chamber rotating fixtures. Apply masking tapes to areas requiring no coating.
• Machine Operation: Run pre-programmed PVD recipes (Multi-arc ion plating/Sputtering) under the guidance of the supervisor. Monitor vacuum pressure, gas flows, and temperatures.
• Post-Coating Inspection: Conduct visual color checks, check for uneven coating or stripping, and safely pack finished premium sheets.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years working in a vacuum coating, electroplating, powder coating, or steel fabrication facility.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle and lift large stainless steel sheets and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: High precision in spotting surface scratches, dust contamination, or oil marks.
• Language: Basic Bahasa Malaysia or English (ability to read digital machine control interfaces).
