Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a PVD Coating Operator / Production Assistant to oversee loading, operating, and unloading vacuum deposition chambers for large stainless steel sheets and architectural fabrications. You will ensure high-quality coating with rigorous inspection and safe handling.

The role requires 1–2 years in a related coating or fabrication environment, physical stamina to handle heavy sheets, and basic literacy in Bahasa Malaysia or English to read machine interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years in vacuum coating, electroplating, powder coating, or steel fabrication facilities.
• Physical stamina to lift and stand for extended periods.
• Language: Basic Bahasa Malaysia or English and ability to read digital machine control interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Treatment Processing: Clean, degrease, and dry stainless steel sheets before loading.
• Chamber Loading & Masking: Mount heavy pieces and apply masking tapes as needed.
• Machine Operation: Run pre-programmed PVD recipes, monitor vacuum pressure, gas flows and temperatures.
• Post-Coating Inspection: Visually inspect coating quality and pack finished sheets.
