Job summary

Wasco AgroTech Sdn Bhd is seeking a production general worker for our manufacturing facility in Malaysia. You will review work orders, materials, drawings, and instructions and perform fabrication tasks to spec, including cutting, welding, grinding, polishing, and painting.

Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards are essential. Responsibilities include tool calibration, part inspection, housekeeping, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Basic skills in cutting, welding, grinding, polishing, and painting.
• 1–2 years of working experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Able to read basic drawings and use measuring tools.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review Work Orders, raw materials, drawings, and other production documents before commencing production activities.
• Ensure measuring, cutting, welding, grinding, polishing, and painting tools/equipment are calibrated and in good condition before use.
• Perform production work according to drawings, quality standards, and work instructions.
• Carry out general fabrication works including cutting, welding, grinding, polishing, and painting.
• Check completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly handled and stored.
• Follow all safety procedures and requirements while performing production activities.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Production Supervisor/Manager.

• Follow all safety procedures and requirements while performing production activities.
• Perform any other tasks or activities assigned by the Production Supervisor/Manager from time to time.

Requirements:

• SPM or any equivalent qualification.

• 1–2 years of working experience in manufacturing or a similar working environment.
