Job summary

Gain City Parts Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support sourcing and procurement activities for our residential and commercial air-conditioner segments. You will prepare POs, follow up with suppliers, maintain supplier databases, and coordinate with warehouse, operations, and accounts teams.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, administration, or inventory control will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Responsible, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage as the role requires liaising with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services required by the company.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and other purchasing documents.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and order status.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers.
• Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and accounts departments.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment planning.
• Handle purchasing-related administrative duties.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
