Job summary

Eng Kah Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing professional to support supplier coordination and delivery scheduling at our Bayan Lepas site. You will manage order follow-ups, update systems with delivery dates, and negotiate prices for materials to ensure on-time supply.

Experience in purchasing and ERP is desirable, with Mandarin as a plus. The role requires at least a diploma or higher secondary, 2 years in related field, and readiness to work at Bayan Lepas.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of working experience in purchasing/related field.
• Computer literate in MS Word and Excel; ERP knowledge is an added advantage.
• Mandarin language skills considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with suppliers on delivery dates.
• Update delivery dates in the system promptly.
• Negotiate prices for existing and new materials.
• Handle all incoming shipments rejected by QA, including indent purchases.
• Coordinate replacement quantities with suppliers and schedule dates including indent purchases.
• Monitor and send vendor performance/assessment reports for local and indent purchases.
• Prepare, analyze, and manage purchasing reports.

Job description

To follow up closely with supplier on the delivery date.

To update the delivery date in the system promptly.

To negotiate the price for existing and new materials.

To handle all incoming shipment which rejected by QA department including indent purchase.

To follow up with supplier for the replacement quantity with a schedule date including indent purchase.

To monitor and send vendor performance report / assessment report to supplier for both local & indent purchase.

Accountable for the preparation, analysis and management of purchasing reports.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary / STPM or Diploma.

Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of ERP system will be an added advantage.

At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Able to speak in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas.
