Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems AB in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking a proactive Purchasing & Logistic Executive to ensure stock availability, plan supplier orders, and coordinate logistics. You will work with sales to meet demand, manage supplier data and regulatory approvals, and optimize inventory across multiple categories.

You will liaise with 3PL partners to ensure on-time delivery and high inventory accuracy, while supporting audits and supplier performance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in supply chain, logistics or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and numerical skills.
• 3 years procurement & logistics experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% stock availability and maintain minimum safety stock across core items.
• Plan and place orders with suppliers to meet demand and MTPT requirements.
• Coordinate with 3PL for on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Lead weekly procurement meetings to review order book and delivery status.
• Manage supplier master data, contracts, prices, and terms.
• Support firedoor tag approvals, Sirim and related regulatory requirements.
• Load new SKUs and perform stock adjustments as needed.
• Synchronize inventory schedules with customer delivery requirements and factory MOQs.

# Purchasing & Logistic Executive**JOB DESCRIPTION:**• Ensuring 100% stock availability and minimum safety stock levels on all core sales items to meet and satisfy customers and sales team demand • Planning and placing of orders with suppliers to meet demand and MTPT requirements • Management and shipment arrangements through consolidator, duties taxes and GRN process • Chairing weekly procurement and ordering meetings with sales management team to review order book status on all stock availability and delivery status • Overseeing and management of application for firedoor tags, sirim and others as required • Processing and management of firedoor process through approval and local factories • Processing and loading of new SKU’s and doing stock adjustments as and when required • Managing project stock ordering schedules to optimise on customer required delivery schedules, factory MOQ’s and local stock holdings • Plan in inventory strategies for different categories • Work closely with sales managers on SKU optimization, rationalisation & SLOBs reduction • Building strong and collaborative supplier relationships to deliver optimal stock, supplier and lead time management • Involved in resourcing existing products from current supplier to Assa Abloy approved supplier • Working closely with appointed 3PL to deliver on time in Full, Inventory accuracy • Resolve issues from both internal, external customers & 3PL • Work closely with regional team on vendor management performance, pricing & payment term. • Updating and keeping active supplier master file, terms, contracts , prices as required • Assist supplier audit as required**REQUIREMENTS:**• Degree or diploma in supply chain management or logistics or related fields • 3 years working experience in procurement & logictics • Excellent excel and maths skills • High levels of accountability and attention to detail**We are the ASSA ABLOY Group** Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
