Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a hands-on Purchasing & Inventory Administrator to anchor day-to-day buying, supplier coordination, and inventory workflows for a growing retail food and F&B business. You will negotiate with vendors, monitor stock levels, verify deliveries, and collaborate with accounts for invoices.

Fresh graduates welcome with strong numerical skills; experience in purchasing, administration or retail is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a related field (Business Admin, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance) required.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply, with drive and willingness to learn.
• Strong numerical aptitude and negotiation skills essential.
• Excellent communication and meticulous record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing & Supplier Management: handle routine ordering of food products, raw materials and supplies; source alternate suppliers and negotiate pricing.
• Inventory Control: monitor stock levels, track deliveries, assist with stock counts and flag shortages or wastage.
• Goods Receiving & Verification: inspect incoming deliveries and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Costing & Documentation: maintain purchase orders, invoices and price lists; assist with cost analysis and price-tracking.
• Finance & Admin Coordination: liaise with accounts for invoice matching; provide occasional cashiering or admin support.
