Responsibility
Source and procure raw materials, components, packaging materials, and indirect materials based on production requirements.
Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production, warehouse, and planning teams to prevent material shortages.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers to support cost optimisation.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.Maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
Handle supplier quotations, enquiries, and purchasing documentation.
Resolve procurement-related issues including delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare procurement reports.
Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and ISO requirements.
Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
