- Maintain and update the supplier database, including contact information, pricing, and lead times.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost reduction targets and favorable payment terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in implementing inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales and operations, to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating new suppliers to expand the company's sourcing options.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
- Support the implementation of supply chain management strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
