Eco Build And Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Junior Executive in Purchasing to join our construction team in Malaysia. You will obtain quotes, compare prices, raise POs, monitor delivery, and check DOs and invoices for payment processing to ensure smooth procurement of materials for our projects.

Key responsibilities include handling day-to-day purchasing and documentation, requesting supplier quotations, following up on deliveries, and updating records in the SQL accounting system

• Basic purchasing experience is required.
• Comfortable using SQL and Microsoft Office.
• Organised, responsible and able to work independently.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Executive in Purchasing to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining quotes, comparing prices, raising purchase orders, monitoring delivery, and checking invoices and delivery orders (DO) for payment processing to ensure the seamless procurement of materials and services for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day purchasing and documentation, including:

Request and compare supplier quotations.

Prepare and raise Purchase Orders (PO).

Follow up with suppliers on delivery and Delivery Orders (DO).

Check DO against invoices and PO before payment processing.

Follow up on outstanding invoices and delivery issues.

Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of quotations, PO, DO, invoices and purchasing records.

Update purchasing records accurately in SQL accounting system.

Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) for daily work.

Follow up with suppliers to ensure items are delivered on time.

Good organisation, attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.

Requirements: Basic purchasing experience, comfortable using SQL and Microsoft Office, organised, responsible and able to work independently.
