Khai Seng Packaging Indsutries Sdn Bhd in Ipoh is seeking a detail‑oriented order support professional to handle PO creation, supplier follow‑up, and delivery coordination. You’ll work with warehouse and transport teams, manage invoices, and ensure compliance with local tax requirements.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a relevant diploma or degree, and strong Excel skills. English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential, with Chinese optional for China suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/STPM/Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; VLOOKUP/Pivot Table a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Create Purchase Orders (POs) daily and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Expedite orders to prevent production delays; you are the chaser for timely arrivals.
• Coordinate delivery with warehouse and transporters; verify Delivery Orders (DO).
• Source 3–5 quotations for every new request to secure best deals.
• Maintain filing system for invoices, DOs, and tax documents.
• Assist in 2026 LHDN e-Invoicing compliance training.
• Handle SST documentation, reconciliation, and submissions.
• Assist store/warehouse with monthly stock-take and triggering replenishment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Order Support: Create Purchase Orders (POs) daily and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Order Expediting: Follow up strictly with suppliers to ensure goods arrive on time. You are the "chaser" who ensures no production delays.
• Delivery Coordination: Liaise with the warehouse team and transporters to coordinate the receiving of goods and verify Delivery Orders (DO).
• Price Sourcing: Reach out to new vendors to get 3-5 quotations for every new request to help us find the best deal.
• Document Guru: Maintain a neat filing system for all invoices, Delivery Orders (DOs), and tax documents.
• Compliance Help: Assist in ensuring all our invoices meet the 2026 LHDN e-Invoicing standards (we will train you on this!).
• SST Handling: Handle in SST documentation, reconciliation, and submission to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Vendor & Inventory Support: Assist the store/warehouse in monthly stock-take activities to identify low-stock items and trigger replenishment.

Requirement

• Education: Diploma/STPM/Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 to 2 Years experience in related field.
• Skills: You must be comfortable with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Table is a bonus) and basic accounting software.
• Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese (if dealing with China suppliers).
