Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, production capacity and inventory levels
• Plan and procure raw materials, packaging materials and other supplies to ensure uninterrupted production
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and material requirements to prevent stock shortages or excesses
• Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, pricing and supply
• Review production progress and adjust schedules to changes in demand or priorities
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory and production planning records
• Prepare reports on procurement, production planning, inventory and supplier performance; suggest process improvements

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels

Plan and procure raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies to ensure uninterrupted production

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery

Monitor inventory levels and material requirements to prevent stock shortages, excess inventory, and production delays

Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and supply

Review production progress and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, material availability, or operational priorities

Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and production planning records

Prepare reports on procurement, production planning, inventory, and supplier performance, and recommend process improvements

About you

SPM and above

Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement or production planning within a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of purchasing processes, production planning, inventory management, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments and with suppliers

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to continuous improvement
