Job summary

Water Revelation is seeking a procurement/production planning professional in Malaysia to develop and maintain production plans based on orders, forecasts and capacity. You will plan procurement of raw materials, issue POs, and monitor inventory to prevent shortages while coordinating with suppliers.

The role requires at least 2 years in purchasing or production planning within manufacturing, with strong analytical and negotiation skills and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, production planning, inventory management, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels
• Plan and procure raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies to ensure uninterrupted production
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and material requirements to prevent stock shortages, excess inventory, and production delays
• Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and supply
• Review production progress and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, material availability, or operational priorities
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and production planning records
• Prepare reports on procurement, production planning, inventory, and supplier performance, and recommend process improvements
