Qualifications

• Competence in vendor relationship management, including negotiation, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
• Proficiency with basic office and ERP or inventory management software to maintain accurate records.
• Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams such as finance, warehouse, and sales.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably within consumer electronics or related industries.
• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field is an advantage.

Role Description The Purchaser is a full-time, on-site role based in Johore, Malaysia, responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for consumer electronic products, components, and related materials. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and evaluating suppliers, requesting and reviewing quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and preparing purchase orders in line with company policies. The Purchaser monitors inventory levels, coordinates with warehouse and sales teams to anticipate demand, and ensures timely delivery of goods to support uninterrupted operations. This role also involves maintaining accurate procurement records, tracking supplier performance, resolving delivery or quality issues, and collaborating with finance to ensure proper invoicing and payment. The Purchaser contributes to cost optimization initiatives and supports continuous improvement in procurement procedures and supplier management.
