Job summary

Eco-Shop Marketing Berhad is seeking a Purchasing professional to manage procurement activities aligned with cost, quality and margin targets. You will coordinate with local and overseas suppliers, monitor stock levels, and support cross-functional teams to ensure accurate orders and attractive on-shelf displays.

The role involves market research to maintain competitive positioning and collaboration with management on day-to-day operations, including ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess minimum Diploma/Degree in business, merchandising, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the relevant industry.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing goods and materials in line with cost, quality and margin.
• Support the purchasing department and other departments for smooth operations.
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers for samples and delivery timing.
• Negotiate best deals for the company.
• Monitor stock availability for all SKUs.
• Communicate with management to ensure accurate orders.
• Visit retail stores to ensure right products and attractive displays.
• Conduct market research to stay competitive and understand market insights.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Purchasing goods and materials in line with specific cost, quality and margin

Supporting the entire purchasing department and other relevant department to ensure smooth running of business operations

To liaise with local and oversea suppliers for raisings of samples, delivery timing etc

Negotiating the best deals for the company

Responsible in monitoring stock availability for all SKUs

Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate

Regular visit to our retail stores and collaborating with the retail teams to have right products on the shelf and in attractive display to interest customers

Always keeping pace with the market trend by conducting market research to ensure competitive positioning and understand market insight

Any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by management

Requirements:
