Job summary
SNERYCORP ENERGY SDN. BHD. is seeking an Application Engineer to provide technical support for pump selection, sizing and proposal preparation in Kajang, Malaysia. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and the sales team to understand requirements and recommend suitable pump solutions.
The role offers opportunities to gain hands-on experience with pump applications, pump curves and technical documentation, while collaborating across departments to deliver tailored engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of pump applications and rotating/industrial equipment is a plus.
- Fresh graduates welcome with strong technical knowledge.
- Good understanding of mechanical systems and drawings.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and recommend pump solutions.
- Size and select pumps according to application needs.
- Review specifications, drawings and customer requirements.
- Prepare technical quotations, proposals and product specs.
- Provide technical support to sales teams and customers.
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on technical matters.
- Prepare pump curves, calculations and documentation.
- Evaluate pump performance for different applications.
- Attend customer meetings and site visits as required.
- Assist with troubleshooting and technical clarification.
