Job summary

SNERYCORP ENERGY SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Pump Technician to support installation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial pumps both at customer sites and in our workshop.

You will troubleshoot, dismantle, repair and reassemble pumps, conduct testing and commissioning, and provide clear service reports while adhering to safety standards. This hands-on role requires a technical qualification in mechanical engineering or mechatronics, willingness to travel, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Experience in pump servicing is an advantage.
• Able to read basic technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Able to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and maintain various types of pumps and related equipment.
• Carry out pump troubleshooting and identify mechanical or operational problems.
• Perform pump dismantling, inspection, repair and reassembly.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of pumps and related equipment.
• Attend customer sites for servicing, troubleshooting and technical support.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Prepare service reports and record work carried out.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure work is performed safely and professionally.
• Work closely with engineers, sales personnel and customers to resolve technical issues.
