Job summary

Hitachi Rail STS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Associate Project Controller Prote9ge Trainee in Kuala Lumpur to support project control activities. The role involves maintaining control tools, reviewing PRs against budgets, and assisting with monthly closings and forecasts.

Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience are welcome. Proficiency in Excel is essential, SAP knowledge is a plus, and strong communication and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in accounting, finance, business, engineering or project management or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in Excel; SAP knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update project control tools, dashboards and trackers.
• Review PR requests against budgets before release and flag exceptions.
• Review project timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
• Support monthly project financial closing, reporting, reconciliations and forecast updates.
• Assist with project cost monitoring and budget tracking.
