Job summary

HTC Global Services MSC Sdn Bhd is seeking an organized professional to support R&D Project Managers across flagship product development projects. You will help plan, track and report work packages, coordinating with engineers, external vendors and test houses to ensure scope, schedule and quality are met.

The role emphasizes independent handling of activities, adherence to project management standards, and continuous improvement across systems and processes while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Experience working on product development projects.
• Comfortable across systems, software, mobile apps, firmware and hardware.
• Strong communication, coordination and organizational skills.
• Independence and an interest in project management.
• Experience in regulated environments, product development and system design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D Project Managers in planning, tracking, monitoring and reporting project work packages.
• Handle day-to-day project work package activities and deliverables independently where required.
• Apply project management standards, processes and quality procedures throughout execution.
• Monitor and report progress, milestones, risks, issues and changes to the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors and test houses to develop project plans and track delivery.
• Coordinate project meetings and maintain tracking and reporting mechanisms.
• Lead team discussions to identify solutions for project issues.
• Maintain lessons learned and share insights to improve future projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes and deliverables while complying with quality/safety requirements.

Job description

Support R&D Project Managers in planning, tracking, monitoring, and reporting project work packages across flagship product development projects. Work with multiple Project Managers, Lead Engineers, external vendors, and test houses across different projects. Manage assigned work packages from planning through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

Handle day-to-day project work package activities and deliverables independently where required

Apply Cochlear's project management methodology, standards, and quality procedures throughout project execution

Monitor and report work package progress, milestones, risks, issues, and changes to the relevant Project Manager

Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and test houses to develop project plans and track delivery progress

Coordinate project meetings and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting mechanisms

Lead team discussions to identify solutions for project work package issues

Maintain lessons learned and share insights with Project Managers to improve future projects

Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and project deliverables while complying with quality and safety requirements

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science

Experience working on product development projects

Comfortable working across systems, software, mobile apps, firmware, and hardware projects in a team-oriented environment

Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills

Independence and an interest in project management

Experience in project management, regulated environments, product development, and system design would be advantageous
