SBH Perak Agro Aquaculture Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Supervisor to oversee daily operations at shrimp farming project sites. You will manage site workers, subcontractors, and logistics while ensuring adherence to construction drawings, specifications, and safety SOPs.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field with 3–5 years of site supervision experience, and strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Project Supervisor (Aquaculture/Shrimp Farming)

The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and monitoring daily operations at the project site to ensure implementation is carried out according to schedule, cost budget, quality standards, and safety guidelines. The main role of this position is to manage site workforce, coordinate contractors/subcontractors, ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and safety (HSE), as well as resolve any daily technical issues at the project site.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily operations at the project site to ensure that work is carried out according to technical drawings and project specifications.

Organize, plan, and monitor daily work schedules for site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Ensure the availability of building materials/equipment at the project site and manage material logistics to avoid work delays.

Conduct regular quality inspections of work to ensure it meets company and customer quality standards.

Identify any potential technical issues or defects at the project site and take corrective action immediately.

Ensure all site work complies with engineering specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.

Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on site.

Ensure all employees and contractors comply with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

Conduct daily safety briefings (toolbox meetings) and report any incidents or hazards to management.

Lead, train, and supervise site workers and ensure that daily task distribution runs effectively.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science, or related fields.

Minimum 3–5 years of practical work experience in project site supervision or related operations.

Understand how to read technical drawings/project plans, master the management of site safety SOPs, and work quality control.

Ability to lead and manage a group of site workers with diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Ability to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English (additional language skills are an advantage).

Willing to work on project sites, be independent, and have time flexibility according to the needs of project progress/completion.
