MAMEE seeks a Project Engineer to supervise and monitor project execution, ensuring vendors and contractors follow the approved scope, schedule, and GMP and safety requirements.
You will work with Project Engineers, conduct site inspections, manage punch lists, coordinate with vendors, and support planning to minimize downtime, with weekend work as needed.
Supervise and monitor project execution to ensure appointed vendors and contractors follow the approved project scope, schedule, and requirements.
Work closely with Project Engineers to ensure project deliverables are completed according to plan and within the agreed timeline.
Conduct regular GEMBA walks and site inspections to monitor work progress, site conditions, safety and GMP compliance.
Monitor actual project progress against the planned schedule and highlight delays, risks and challenges to Project Engineers and relevant stakeholders.
Attend daily project review meetings and provide updates on project progress, site issues, safety concerns and GMP non-compliance.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, engineers and operational teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare and monitor project punch lists communicate with engineers for findings closure efficiently and effectively
Assist in project planning and scheduling to minimize production interruptions, plant stoppages and downtime.
Identify and elevate potential project risks, delays and scope deviations, and support timely corrective actions.
Provide practical technical guidance and on-site support to stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Identify opportunities to improve project execution efficiency, reduce overall project cost and minimize project duration and plant downtime.
Assist Project Engineers in evaluating and identifying critical spare parts for newly installed equipment.
Ensure all project activities comply with company safety requirements, GMP standards and other applicable site requirements.
Support project activities during weekends or outside normal working hours when required.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Mechatronic Engineering will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, site supervision or a similar supervisory role.
Proficient in AutoCAD and GstarCAD/Gstar with Intermediate to Advanced skills.
Good knowledge of Project Management, including project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and execution, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong Vendor Management skills with the ability to coordinate and monitor contractors effectively.
Strong knowledge of workplace safety requirements and preferably GMP requirements in a manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Hands‑on approach with the ability to work effectively at project sites and manage multiple priorities.
Willing to work on weekends or outside normal office hours when required to support project execution.
