Sushi Panda Sdn Bhd is seeking a project coordinator in the Maintenance Department to manage and coordinate new outlet projects from planning through to opening. You will oversee renovation, fit-out, procurement, equipment installation, and site inspections, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with company standards.
Minimum 3–5 years in PM/construction or related fields, with a Diploma/Degree in a relevant discipline.
This position is under the Maintenance Department and involves managing and coordinating new Sushi Panda outlet projects from planning, renovation, procurement, and setup through to successful opening. You will oversee renovation, construction, fit-out, and reinstatement works, coordinate procurement and equipment installation, ensure quality control and compliance, and support pre-opening and outlet launch activities.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company standards.
Oversee renovation, construction, fit-out, and reinstatement works, including regular site inspections and quality checks.
Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, and landlords to resolve site issues and ensure timely completion.
Coordinate the procurement, delivery, installation, and testing of outlet equipment, furniture, fixtures, signage, and other requirements.
Ensure all purchases and installations meet approved specifications, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
Ensure all renovation and development works comply with company standards, approved designs, landlord requirements, and applicable regulations.
Identify and follow up on defects, outstanding works, and compliance issues before outlet opening.
Coordinate with Operations, HR, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and other departments to ensure the outlet is fully prepared for opening.
Monitor project costs, review quotations, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management, construction, renovation, F&B outlet development, retail, property, or a related field.
Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Management, F&B Management, or a related discipline.
Good knowledge of renovation, construction, procurement, equipment installation, and project coordination.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Good communication, coordination, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Able to read and understand basic layout plans, quotations, project schedules, specifications, and renovation documents.
Willing to travel for site inspections, project meetings, and outlet development activities.
Possess a valid driving licence.
Experience in F&B outlet renovation, retail fit-out, construction, or new outlet opening will be an advantage.
Preferable candidate that able to communicate in Chinese/Mandarin.
