Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Project Planner to develop, monitor, and control schedules for public schools, government quarters, and commercial developments. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project is required to ensure timely delivery within scope.

You will liaise with project teams, prepare progress reports, and support tendering, budgeting, and forecasting. Diploma or degree in engineering or related field with 2–5 years' experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 2–5 years of project planning experience.
• Hands-on with CAD and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Prepare and modify technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align schedules with project deliverables
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions
• Perform critical path analysis and resource planning
• Track project milestones, costs, and productivity metrics
• Ensure all drawings and schedules comply with project specifications and standards
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and planning documentation
• Support tendering, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Conduct site visits when required to verify actual progress vs planned

Job Summary

The Project Planner is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules while supporting technical planning through drafting tools. This role requires strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
