Job summary

Elrois Group is seeking a Project Planner to join our Data Center project team in Malaysia. The role involves developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met while coordinating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

The position starts in Puncak Alam and will relocate to Port Dickson as the project progresses. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2–5 years of planning experience

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or data center projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule delays or risks.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors for planning and reporting.
• Prepare baseline, recovery, and look-ahead schedules.
• Track milestones, critical paths, and resources.
• Generate weekly/monthly progress reports for management.
• Analyze schedule performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Support project controls, forecasting, and documentation processes.
• Ensure planning activities comply with project requirements and contractual obligations.

We are seeking a Project Planner to join our Data Center project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring that project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are achieved efficiently. This role will initially be based in Puncak Alam and will subsequently relocate to Port Dickson as the project progresses.

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Working Hours: Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Overtime: Replacement leave provided in lieu of overtime payment
• Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or data center projects is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Willing to be based in Puncak Alam and relocate to Port Dickson when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Data Center construction projects.
• Knowledge of project controls earned value management, and progress reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Excel, and project reporting tools.
