Sime Darby Property seeks an experienced Renewable Energy EPCC Engineer to lead the design, performance analysis, and monitoring for solar and energy efficiency projects in Malaysia. You will ensure COD readiness, coordinate with vendors, and manage regulatory compliance while delivering within budget.

The role requires at least 5 years in solar EPCC, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with government bodies, regulators, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the solar energy sector, EPCC project execution, design optimization, and system performance analysis.
• Good knowledge of solar PV system design, performance analysis, and PR verification.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical expertise and support in development, execution, optimization and COD of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Projects.
• Lead system design, performance analysis, and integration of advanced monitoring solutions for energy management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage stakeholder expectations to drive successful solar project implementation within budget.
• Support the development and execution of solar PV projects and energy efficiency projects from conceptualization to COD.
• Assist in the design and optimization of solar PV projects and energy efficiency projects.
• Conduct system performance analysis and verification to ensure optimal energy output.
• Provide technical support for project teams and contractors for solar PV system integration and operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high system reliability.
• Assist in cost optimization and procurement of projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of materials.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, regulators, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular system evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Support budget planning for operational and capital expenditures related to solar projects.
• Establish and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and frameworks for project execution and monitoring.
• Prepare periodic assessments of system performance and provide insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely reporting and submission of technical evaluations, project updates, and compliance documentation.

Education/ Professional Qualification

• Highly organized with great attention to detail and strong verbal & written communication skills.


• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


• Advantageous to have professional certifications in solar energy or project management.
