Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a senior site leader to drive day-to-day operations on a Data Centre project in Malaysia. The role requires managing sub-contractors, site teams, and technical engineers to ensure alignment with design standards.

The candidate will oversee M&E integration, coordinate with clients and authorities, and monitor progress and costs to keep the project within budget. A strong leadership track record and 8–10+ years of construction experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record in Data Centre projects, critical facility infrastructure, or complex high-tech M&E builds.
• 8-10+ years of construction experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or Site Agent role.
• Strong leadership, project finance understanding, and problem-solving skills.

Project Leadership: Drive day-to-day site operations, managing sub-contractors, site teams, and technical engineers.

M&E & Technical Oversight: Ensure all critical Data Centre Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems are constructed and integrated to design standards.

Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between top management, client representatives, consultants, and local authorities.

Progress & Cost Control: Monitor progress against baseline schedules and work with the Quantity Surveyor to keep costs within budget.

Quality & Safety: Enforce QA/QC standards and zero-harm health and safety protocols across all work zones.

Key Requirements

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

Technically Qualified: Proven track record in Data Centre projects, critical facility infrastructure, or complex high-tech M&E builds.

8-10+ years of construction experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or Site Agent role.
