Job summary

Trac Consulting & Engineering Sdn Bhd in Sepang, Selangor is seeking a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience to coordinate and manage ELV system projects, including CCTV, door access, and intrusion detection. You will liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure milestones are met.

The role requires strong English communication, ability to work under time pressure, and coordination across multi-disciplinary teams. Hybrid on-site and remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering fields or equivalent; Project Management is a plus.
• At least 5 years of project management experience as a Project Manager.
• Knowledge & experience on ELV systems (CCTV, Door Access, Intrusion Detection System) is required.
• Knowledge & experience in Network Switch/AP/Routers configuration is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under time pressure and with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate remote and on-site project coordination and management consultation.
• Oversee site commissioning and problem solving for ELV systems.
• Develop systematic approach to manage assigned projects with tracking and follow-up actions with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary consultants, contractors and clients on project progress, program, deliverables and milestones.
• Assist in review and compilation of testing Method Statements, Test Reports and Defect Lists for Security Systems.
• Support the Design team in gathering information and documents for design inputs from relevant parties.
• Provide timely support and resolve critical challenges within projects.

To provide Remote & on-site Project Coordination and Management Consultation, Site Commissioning, problem solving, for ELV Systems consisting of integrated security systems (Network/ CCTV/ Intrusion Detection System / Electronic Door Access control systems).

To develop systematic approach to manage the assigned project with close tracking and follow up actions with various stakeholders.

To coordinate closely with multi-disciplinary consultants, contractors and clients on project progress, program, deliverables and milestones.

To assist in review and compilation of testing Method Statement, Test Reports and Defect List documentation for all Security Systems.

Responsible to support the Design team in gathering the necessary information and documents for design inputs, by liaison with the relevant parties.

Responsible to provide timely support and resolve critical challenges within projects

Problem ownership - tenacity to ensure that results are delivered to our customers

Any other job responsibility that will be assigned to you from time to time by your superiors.

Skills and Requirements:

Candidate must possess bachelor's Degree in Engineering fields, Project Management, or equivalent.

At least 5 years of project management experience in the position of a Project Manager.

Knowledge & experience on ELV systems (CCTV, Door Access, Intrusion Detection System) is required.

Knowledge & experience in Network Switch/AP/Routers configuration is an added advantage.

Ability to work under time pressure, manage multiple tasks and maintaining a positive and patient attitude.

Ability to work with all levels of personnel from end users to senior management.

Ability to communicate well technically, both written and spoken English.
