Role Overview
We are seeking an executive-level Senior Project Manager to assume complete operational and strategic ownership of major high-rise building construction projects in Selangor/Perak. In this role, you will lead end-to‑end site execution from initial planning through to final handover ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, budget, and delivery timelines. You will serve as the primary leadership anchor on-site, directing cross-functional teams and orchestrating high-stakes stakeholder engagements with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Job Responsibilities

Full Lifecycle Project Leadership: Oversee comprehensive site operations, master planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking across all project phases.

Stakeholder Management: Serve as the chief liaison to negotiate terms, resolve commercial or operational alignment, and maintain strategic relationships with clients, principal consultants, authority bodies, and subcontractors.

Technical Problem Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex structural, engineering, and architectural site issues to ensure project momentum and design compliance.

Risk Management & Cost Control: Implement proactive risk mitigation frameworks and project control measures to keep construction activities on schedule and within budget parameters.

Executive Reporting: Deliver regular high-level progress updates, financial forecasts, and operational assessments directly to executive management.

Team Governance: Direct, mentor, and empower site personnel and sub-contractors to foster a culture of quality, safety compliance, and peak operational performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.

Industry Experience: 15–20 years of progressive project management experience within high-rise building construction, demonstrating a complete track record of end-to‑end project completions.

Communication & Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; professional fluency in Mandarin is a strong advantage for client engagements/stakeholders.

Core Capabilities: Proven authority in large-scale site coordination, subcontractor procurement, authority compliance, and structural/architectural plan evaluation.

Leadership & Professional Temperament: Exceptionally strong command leadership, conflict‑resolution capabilities, and resilience under pressure to drive critical project deadlines.

Flexibility & Mobility: Willingness to work a standard 6-day construction schedule (including full-day Saturdays) and relocate within the region as required by project scope.
