Job summary

APG Geotechnics is seeking a Project Manager / Assistant / Senior Engineer to oversee planning, management, execution and financial control of geotechnical projects. The role requires ensuring timely delivery within budget while meeting client quality requirements, and supervising on-site safety and health standards.

The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree with at least 8 years of relevant bored piling and geotechnical experience, and be able to lead a project team, coordinate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in bored piling and geotechnical works at construction sites.
• Experience in construction of substructure and buildings >8 storeys would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall planning, management, execution and financial control to ensure on-time, within-budget and quality delivery.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and health requirements at site.
• Lead and manage the project team and coordinate sub-contractors on site.
• Organise resources, equipment and materials and liaise with clients, consultants and authorities.

Project Manager / Assistant / Senior Engineer

• Responsible for the overall planning, management, execution and financial control of the projects to ensure they are completed on time, within the budget and met the quality requirements of the clients.
• Responsible for the compliances with quality, safety and health requirement at site
• Manage & lead the project team
• Coordinate and monitor sub-contractors' activities on site
• Organize the projects' resources, machines, plant and equipment, and materials
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on all technical and site issues

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Min8Years relevant experiencein Bored piling and geotechnical at construction site
• Min 8 Years relevant experience in Construction of Substructure and Building > 8 storeys would be considered for Building Works Team.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD
• Ability to lead, motivate, plan and coordinate project team
• Good organizational and analytical skills
• Discipline and Strong Work Ethic
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Based in Selangor or Sarawak or Sabah (Permanent)
• Must be willing to travel outstation when required
